چکیده

3-Butyl-1-methyl-1H-imidazol-3-iumbis((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)amide [Bmim][Tf2N] as an environmentalfriendly solvent was added to the reaction media for synthesis of some new azole compounds as antifungal agents. The effect of [Bmim][Tf2N] on the rate of reactions was studied using NMR analysis. The results show remarkable increasing in the progress of the reactions. As in recent years the developments of resistance to currently available antifungal azoles in Candida spp., as well as clinical failures in the treatment of fungal infections have been reported therefore intense efforts in antifungal drug discovery are still needed to develop more promising and effective antifungal agents for use in the clinical arena. We present a synthetic route for producing antifungal that is improved by using an ionic liquid.

Brønsted acidic ionic liquid ([BMIm]HSO4) as an efficient catalysts for the one-pot synthesis of 2H-indazolo[2,1-b]phthalazine-trione derivatives

The Brønsted acidic ionic liquid ([BMIm]HSO4) catalyzed three-component synthesis of 2H-indazolo[2,1-b]phthalazine-trione derivatives at room temperature. The integrity of the ionic liquid remains reasonably unchanged when it is separated from the reaction mixture by water extraction, as it can be recycled several times without any loss of activity in each of the title syntheses. The products a...

Ultrasound-promoted Catalyst-free Synthesis of α-Aminonitriles in 1-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium Bromide ([Bmim]Br) as a Reusable Neutral Ionic Liquid

A catalyst-free one-pot three component methodology for the synthesis of α-aminonitriles under ultrasonic irradiation at room temperature using [Bmim]Br as a neutral reaction medium is described. A broad range of substrates including the aromatic, heteroaromatic and aliphatic aldehydes were condensed with amines (aliphatic and aromatic) and trimethylsilyl cyanide (TMSCN). Using this method, all...

[BMIm]BF4-LiCl as an effective catalytic system for the synthesis of dicoumarols

A homogeneous ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate doped with LiCl ([BMIm]BF4-LiCl) was found as catalyst solvents for the synthesis of dicoumarols by the condensation of 4-hydroxycoumarin and aldehyde at 80 ˚C. In this field, several types of aromatic aldehyde, containing electron-withdrawing groups as well as electron-donating groups, were rapidly changed to the correspo...
